Andrew Derrickson Last Will and Testament |

I Andrew Derrickson being a citizen of Shelby County and state of Indiana do make and witness my last will and testament hereby
revoking and making all former wills by me heretofore made First I direct that my body be decently interred and that my funeral
be conducted in a manner corresponding with my estate and situation in life and as to such worldly estate as it has pleased God
to entrust me with I dispose of the same as follows to wit I direct first that all my just debts and funeral expenses be
paid as soon after my decease as possible out of the same moneys coming into the hands of my executor from my estate
Second I direct that a decent and respectful set of tombstones be affixed to my grave and the same be paid for out of my estate
I further direct that in case my beloved wife Rachel Derrickson should live after my decease that all my property remain
indisposed of for her support during her life time and after her death she is to have a decent and respectful funeral and all
her funeral expenses be paid out of my property by my executor and after above expenses have all paid I give and bequeath
all the remainder of my property real and personal as follows to wit First I give to Elizabeth Packer my niece one hundred
dollars, she is now living in the city of Philadelphia and state of Pennsylvania and I also give to may namesake
Andrew P. Barrington fifty dollars he also lives in the city of Philadelphia and state of Pennsylvania and the remainder
of my property more or less give and bequeath to Andrew Derrickson who is a son of my half brother Isaac Derrickson and further
I hereby appoint my friend William Bennett to settle my estate and carry out the directions of this will

Signed sealed published and declared by the written named Andrew Derrickson Senior as his last will and testament in the presence
of us who hereunto subscribed our names in the presence of the testator and of each other this the year of our Lord one
thousand and eight hundred and seventy April 1 1870

I John Elliot clerk of the court of common pleas for the county of Shelby in the state of Indiana do certify the annexed to be a
true copy of the last will of Andrew Derrickson senior deceased late of said county and of the certificate of probate as endorsed
thereon and William Bennett psting (?) duly qualified and given band as required by law as executor has duly authorized
to take upon himself the administration of such estate according to such will
Witness my hand and the seal of said levant (?) this seventh day of June 1872
