Fanetta Foreman is appointed the guardian 11 December 1852 of Mary Ann, Margaret Jane, John and Sarah Ellen Foreman, minor heirs of Peter Foreman deceased with Albert Derrickson as her security. Fanetta asks to be discharged as guardian stating that one of her wards is now deceased and the other three are now married. She makes settlement with S. and M.J. Thomas, A. and M.A. Arnold and Hiram and S.E. Kaster. 14 March 1862

To sell John's real estate in Addison Township as the personal property was insufficient to pay the debts of the estate. The deceased left no widow but did leave these children and heirs; July Ann the wife of William Hogue who is an adult and these minors; Amanda Scofield 17, George Washington 15, Harriet Calvert Scofield 17, Buchanan 7, Thomas Edward 5, Clara 2, and Mary Ann 2. Thomas J. Cherry and Isaac H. Wilson were appraisers of the real estate with John C. Green guardian of the minor heirs for this sale. The administrator files additional bond with Caleb Holden as his surety. The real estate was purchased by Kimble E. Midkiff with John Hendrickson as his security. Now comes into court E.G. Mayhew, administrator of a deed to Kimble E. Derrickson for the above real estate. The indenture for this real estate is made to Mary Derrickson Sr. and at her death to her children; Kimble E. Derrickson, and Ellen, William, Mary and Rebecca Derrickson. 25 March 1865

Stephen D. Davis and Thomas J. John appraised the real estate which was purchased by Franklin J. Shoemaker. The guardian filed additional bond with George C. Morrison as his security. 7 March 1873

Ellen was listed as Kimble's widow and the residue was distributed to her and these other heirs; Mary Derrickson, Archibald Midkiff, Samuel Midkiff, Elizabeth Larrison, Caroline Yager, Rebecca Barnes, the administrator, Minerva Oldham, John M. Midkiff, Kimble E. Midkiff and Sarah McCullough. And Elizabeth and Eveline the children of Thomas Midkiff who died before Kimble, with James L. Midkiff as their guardian. 26 November 1870.
