State of Indiana, Shelby County Before me, the undersigned, Clerk of the Court of Common Pleas in and for said County, personally came Stephan D. Davis and Thomas J. John being first duly sworn say that they will honestly and impartially appraise the within described Real Estate.

Petition to Sell Real Estate

Be it Remembered, That on 6th day of March 1873, it being the 4th Judicial day of said Term of said Court, the above Guardian filed his petition for the sale of the following described Real Estate, situate in the County of Shelby in the State of Indiana, to-wit: The undivided sixty-three two-hundred and fortieths (63/240) the South half of the West half of the South West quarter of section nineteen (19) Township twelve (12) North of Range Seven (7) East, Containing forty-one (41) acres more or less, subject to the life estate of Mary Derrickson

And the Court having seen and inspected said petition, appoints Stephen D. Davis and Thomas J. John respectable freeholders of the neighborhood, to appriase said Real Estate

Witness John Elliot Clerk of said Court, and the seal thereof, this6th day of March 1873
