I Elizabeth Derrickson Widow of William Derrickson late of the said County of Shelby and now deceased. Swear that my late husband property real and personal is not worth over five hundred dollars as I believe and I ask that the same be appraised.

Be it remembered that on this 11 day of October 1870, Elizabeth Derrickson Widow of William Derrickson of Shelby County Indiana deceased filed in the Clerk's Office of the Shelby County Court of Common Pleas her petition to vest the property of her deceased husband in her as such widow the sum being not over $500 in value. And said Widow having selected Albert Munson as one of the appraisers to appraise said Property on her part. I J. G. Wolf Clerk of said Court do hereby select and appoint William Fields on my part as the other of said appraisers, and both of you said appraisers are hereby commanded to take an Inventory and Appraisement of said property both Real and personal, and report and file the same in the office of the Clerk of said Court within 30 days.

We, William Fields, and Albert P. Munson swear that we will honestly appraise the personal estate of William Derrickson, deceased, which may be exhibited to us, so help us God.
