| My methodology for pedigrees:

The numbering system I have used for pedigrees uses the family name, chart number and then the standard 4-generation numbering system per chart (including spouses, even though they are not listed for the maternal side). For example, I (Amy Marie Derrickson) am the first person on the first chart so my number is Derrickson1.1. My great-great-grandfather Charles Derrickson Sr. is the eighth person on the first chart so his number is Derrickson1.8. On the next charts (2, 3, 4, etc.) the last person from the previous chart is also the first person on the next chart. Again, for example, my great-great-grandfather Charles Derrickson Sr. is the eighth person on chart 1 (Derrickson1.8) and the first person on chart 2 (Derrickson2.1). There is also a note under the chart ID stating this information. When you look at the lists of alphabetic ancestors and family group sheets you will see these designations. I have not substantiated my connection yet, but I provide this as general information until I can verify with documentation. I will only include 1 4-generation chart.
