England: One of the main reasons I took my job at Honeywell (Bendix back then) was because I wanted to be able to travel all over the world. I accepted my job in early 1992 and by the fall of that year I took my first trip overseas to Oakhanger England. Oakhanger is about 10 miles outside Alton, southwest of London about 60 miles. I've returned there for my job many times and I think I've seen just about all there is to see in the South of England. On the following page is some of the other photos I have taken during various trips.

France: During one of my trips to England in 1996 I decided to take a two week vacation to Paris. I have dreamed of going to Paris since I was a young girl. It seemed like such a romantic place. I arrived in Paris over the Bastille Day holiday and the running of the Tour de France. I was overwelmed by the city's beauty and elegance. I would go back in a heartbeat!!

Germany: During my 1997 trip to England I took a 10 day vacation to Germany. I had heard great things about it from my parents who went about 10 years earlier. I liked Germany, the castles were spectacular, but it was not my absolute favorite. I will definately take Sam to visit but I think we have even more exciting places to try first.

Greenland: Thule Greenland. I've been there four times for work and although the cold vastness of the arctic is always impressive I have no fond attachments to this place. But how many people can say they've visited Thule??

Scandanavia: During my 1998 visit to England I was planning on taking a trip to Italy, my next big trip. We were planning to go in mid-May which is great for visiting Italy. But, our trip got postponed and we were not able to go until late August. I read that Italy was very visitor unfriendly at this time of year so I consulted my travel books and discovered that this time of year is great for Scandanavia. So I decided to give it a shot. I was not dissappointed. I LOVED Norway. It was green, the waterfalls were unbelievable, and the people were extremely friendly. Sweden was o.k. and Denmark was fantastic. Again, I'd go back in any time. I'd love to take one of the cruises next time.
