"Honey"

My  1989 BMW R100GS bumblebeemer that I no longer have.  BMW's idea of a dual sport.  The only 400lb dual sport you have ever seen.  Actually not all that bad off road, but definitely a neat road bike.  This would be a bike to take to Alaska, or South America, or wherever.   I put new Metzler Tourances on it.  (man, sticky sticky sticky, fun), touratech and BMW bash plates, Touratech hand guards.  (from Ride West BMW), a new Fox Shock, and Wirth springs in the front end.  It already had a Corbin Saddle and the standard BMW hard bags.  With the hard bags, tank bags, pannier bags and a duffel strapped on the back, you could go forever with all kinds of gear.  Oh, and a regular GS (non-PD) holds EXACTLY 5 gallons of fuel when totally empty.  You find this out when a float sticks on a carburetor and it totally drains the tank on your boots.

Anyway, here are some pictures, enjoy.
