Joe's Donut Hole

Joe's site has a special site in my heart, since Joe is the other half of the famous Boulder Donut Duo. Joe and I no longer frequent the Dunkin Donuts on 30th and Canyon or the Winchells on 28th and Arapahoe (in fact it no longer exists, its now a BAGEL shop! UGHHHH!). Both of us have since graduated from good ol' CU and have moved on. Joe now resides in New Mexico, and I have moved 70 miles down the interstate. Joe's Donut Hole is yet another monument to the great American invention - the donut! Check out Joe's TOP TEN and the Donut Crossword Puzzle. By the way, that really is a picture of Joe in the middle of his Donut Hole logo! |

Allen Thompson's House of Donuts

Allen continues to produce one of the original and best donut pages on the web. (In fact, back in the day, if you did a search on YAHOO for "donut" you would only find a few results, including Allen's site and yours truly.) Always changing and always a fun place to visit... Allen and Joe (above) were featured together along with my page as "WORST OF THE WEB" by C-NET and the SCI-FI channel! When you start combining Donuts, songs, and Religion, you've got a web page worth visiting! I believe the image to the left was one of his original logos, So much has changed.... |

This site is a bit on the wild side, HOWEVER it has some terrific black and white, timeless photos of some some great donut shops. That alone made my visit to this site worth, along with the picture of the girl stuff her face with donut! Click on Bobbys Hangouts for the B/W pictures. |

This is a great addition to the world of donuts on the web. Tons of pictures of donuts, news, and jokes... However, IMO, this sites best feature is the Donut Quiz! If you think you have knowledge, bring it over to this site and test yourself... Lots of annoying advertising banners though...bummer. ALSO A GREAT TOUR OF DONUT MAKING! |
