After painting the cheeseboard in the workshop, I tried out a new shape for the same design. The idea to paint on this "squat" vase came from Patty Ringer. She picked up one of these vases from Mr & Mrs. of Dallas and began to design more hydrangeas. I had to try it too.

I love going to the Art Institute, there is so much cross pollination of ideas and you get to sit next to some of the very best artists of our time. It's such a grand time.
