This photo shows the top of a compote. I haven't finished the outside painting, nor the gold work. I am also working on the base. Only the gold bands are completed. I was very pleased with the way the grapes and the quince came out on this one.

The small flowers don't show up very well in the photo, but they offer a good contrast to the deeper pigment of the grapes.
