This piece was very time-consuming. It was glazed with rust colored slip and then the white areas were carved out with a scraffito tool. It was sort of a reverse glazing project.

The feather motif is continued all around the pot. Dimensions are:

4" tall, 4 1/4" wide, and 13 3/4" around at the widest point.
