Taken on Sun, Dec 20, 1998 when I stopped by IU on the way from Kentucky to my parents house in Carmel. What you see is the IU Memorial Student Union building. It has been around since the 1920's when buildings were built well.
This is the famous strip just West of the IU campus. Kirkwood Avenue. It has many unique stores and eating places which the best part of all is that it is not corporate except for McDonalds, Subway and Ben & Jerry's. You have to go on old IN 37 to find the corporate establishments to eat.
Bloomington, Indiana is a pretty neat college town like Boulder, Colorado with the U. of Colorado.
