One of Boulder's trademarks is the spectacular vista of the Flatirons. The Boulder Mountain Parks system offers hiking and climbing for outdoor adventurers of all abilities.

Fourth of July Fireworks (a 17 kB jpeg file).

One of Boulder's annual events is the fireworks display at the University of Colorado's Folsom Field. Other major events include the Bolder Boulder 10k race, and the Boulder Creek Festival. Both events are held Memorial Day weekend.
