'Bout Me |
Yes, the picture to the right is not me - it's my brand new grandson, Logan! What a kid... ready for Grandpa to spoil!
Day Job: GFC/C Site Lead, Boeing Corp., Kwajalein Atoll, Republic of the Marshall Islands.
Married for 13 great years to Sherry, and we have three kids: Shandra (22, husband Josh), Eric (20), and Matthew (12, going on 30).
My original hobby was trains of every sort, and my interest continues today unabated. My model railroading interest is the Southern Pacific of the '50s and '60s. I plan to eventually build an N scale depiction of SP's Tehachapi Crossing, complete with helper operations. So I share the same ambition as about three dozen other model railroaders, but I don't care. I like the railroad, the route, the scenery, and it's my basement(subject to spousal approval). What she does approve of, however, is a garden railroad, so I may be compelled to do something outdoors with Colorado narrow gauge models.
I write software in my spare time, mostly dealing with model railroading. You'll find links to all my stuff that's fit to print at the left...
One of these days, I'd like to procure, restore, and run an old railroad speeder. These are the little 4-wheel jobbies that maintenance folks used to ride the rails to their work. In the meantime, I maintain a page of motorcar types, link at the left...
