| This is the train register from the Basalt station, in which was recorded all train movements from December 12, 1917 through April 1, 1918. The page depicted above is representative of the contents and shows the eastbound movements only. The westbound movement for that day are recorded on the facing page (not depicted here). Found in this book was a copy of a handwritten train order that detailed the movement of engines 205 and 306, dated July 26, 1912. 306 had been ordered to return to Colorado City, being replaced by 205. This copy of the order was on plain paper and can be accessed on the bottom of the page at the "Previous" link below. |
