Rotary Snowplow A and its short train have stopped on the east leg of the Arkansas Junction wye, adjacent to the depot. The tracks continue from the rear of the train to the east and eventually reach Leadville. The tracks on the west leg (out of view to the left) ascend to the Busk-Ivanhoe Tunnel, below Hagerman Pass. The depot was the second of two at the site. The identities of the men are not known. (From Ralph Ellison's collection.) |
