Shown here is the shop crew at the Colorado City machine shop. The date is not known, although the photo might have been taken in 1906, as evidenced by an identical print at the Pike's Peak Public Library. The shop building is still standing and is now the Ghost Town Museum. It's near the old roundhouse (visible through the back door), which later became the Van Briggle Pottery shop. The roundhouae is now occupied by a restaurant and a few stores. |
