Pikes Peak Range Ride 2009

This year Al and both of our sons went on the annual Pikes Peak Range Ride, starting with a parade in downtown Colorado Springs and followed by four days riding near the Spanish Peaks in southern Colorado. Pictured here (left to right) are Al on PWR Lenas Tari Pines, Tom on My Tee Prarie Wind, and Bill on Prairie Wind Reward. The trip was a great success except for one afternoon of torrential rains out on the trail.

Babies, Babies, Babies

A bay filly by Zan Sweet Jack and HL Nola Lena

A palomino filly by Zan Sweet Jack and Call Me Sweet Lady

An orphan filly by Zan Sweet Jack and our mare Watch Josie Zip who died the day this filly was born. Pictured is our granddaughter Lauren helping train her to a bottle. By her third day she was able to feed herself from the bottle mounted to the stall wall. We are happy to report she is doing really well.

A bay filly by Mr Gallo del Cielo at the T Cross Ranch and out of our mare, Colonel Madison, a double bred Colonel Freckles mare. We think she will be a grey like her father.
