Max has a new family!

Our thanks to Arlen and Melissa Mathies and their boys from Pueblo, Colorado, for the purchase of AQHA Champion Maximum Impressor. We know he will have a good home. We recommend Melissa for equine photography and graphic arts. She designed the flyer for Zan Sweet Jack which can be seen below. Check our Links page for her website.

Congratulations to Laura Lehsten on the purchase of How D Royal Reward

Thank you, Laura, for finding a new job and home for our stallion How D Royal Reward. Laura, holding Royal, is pictured with her friend Karyn Ries, who shows halter and performance horses. Laura did her research on the successful crossing of Royal's bloodlines and those of Ima Cool Skip and plans to breed him to her Ima Cool Skip mares. We wish her much success!

Jack is home this spring for breeding

Zan Sweet Jack is back in Colorado for the breeding season. We are standing him live cover at the ranch in Peyton. He will be returned to Riley Renner, his trainer, in late May. He needs only a few more points in heading and heeling to qualify in both those events at the 2008 World.

Jack goes 5th in Junior Heading at the World Show!!

We are really pleased with our horse Zan Sweet Jack and his trainer Riley Renner of Ericson, Nebraska. Riley qualified Jack for the AQHA World Show in Junior heading and has put 75 heading and heeling points on him this year. There were 45 entries in this class and to end up 5th was a real accomplishment. The competition was awesome! The AQHA currently lists Jack as the 4th highest junior heading horse for 2007. Leading Jack around the show barn is Brady Renner, 3 year old son of our trainer.
