LORRAINE WATRY

Lorraine Watry is a signature member of the Pikes Peak Watercolor Society. She has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Colorado, Boulder. She has worked in various mediums including computer graphics. Watercolor became her artistic love 7 years ago.

Lorraine is a Colorado native and a busy mom of three. She paints landscapes, florals, architecture and people. Her paintings are infused with the bright light and deep shadows found in Colorado. She has exhibited in galleries across the Pikes Peak region and was accepted into three juried shows in ‘2000. She has received commissions for original watercolors, including portraits. She is now sharing her love for watercolor with students at the Pikes Peak Community College of Colorado Springs.
