LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN, TENNESSEE, ALONG THE CHATTANOOGA RAILROAD. This is a Currier & Ives print measuring 16" x 11" (I couldn't fit the whole print on my scanner, but rest assured this one extends to the left, right and top farther than shown and has a white border on all sides). It comes from a 1959 calendar. While it is not an original Currier & Ives 19th-century hand-colored lithograph (an original of this print, if you can find one, is presently valued at $6,700 or more) it is nevertheless very attractive and frameable, not to mention that it is 40 years old and an antique in its own right. This scene was copyrighted by Currier & Ives in the year 1866.
