Mile High Browns Backers

Invesco Field Tailgate Pictures

Sunday, Sept. 20th, 2009

The tailgate started at about 8:00am Sunday morning before the game. Only a few fans were there this early in the morning. Our Dawg Pound West Banner was hung just above the Broncos tent (center).

The tailgate was held at the Cash Lot on the corner of 17th and Mile High Stadium Circle West behind the Sportsfan on Federal Blvd. in Denver

Shortly after putting up our Dawg Pound West Banner a silly Bronco fan and her "boyfriend" thought they could just go rip it down. After a short verbal confrontation the donkey fans saw things our way. Our banner hung proudly for the rest of the tailgate. We had to post gaurds by the banner to keep it from being ripped down...

A Browns helmet sits proudly on the roof of a car as a few early tailgaiters enoy the morning. Weather was spectacular for the tailgate. Things turned chilly and windy later for the game...

After the banner fiasco Browns and Bronco fans tentatively coexisted during the tailgate. As the morning progressed, Browns fans tailgating far outnumbered Bronco fans.

It's still early in the morning. Early tailgaters have an easy drive to the stadium before the real stadium traffic starts.

Lookie Here... Browns fans are starting to appear from everywhere. The number of Browns fans attending the game was phenomenal. Many Bronco fans were overheard saying they couldn't believe how many Browns fans were at the game...

A few Colorado Springs tailgaters make the short road trip to Denver to see the game. The Springs had their tailgate at Coors Field (???)

Club Banner Guard Craig explains to fellow Browns fans how he defended the Browns honor by turning away an obnoxious female Bronco fan and her "boyfriend"? Craig also engineered and manufactured the banner using a bedsheet, tape, and lots of brown and orange paint. Thanks Craig...

EVERY YEAR is The Year of the Dawg...
