THE STABLE BARE

We come in our hearts to a stable bare
To see the Christ child sleeping there.
On bended knee then to adore
This babe, our king, forevermore.

The angel’s message from on high
Rejoicing sang this lullaby.
"He’s born, the ransom for your sin
Peace on earth, Good will toward men."

Don’t leave Him in the manger newly born.
He grew into the Lord of Easter morn.
He reigns now in eternity,
The Advocate for you and me.
