After unit is finished students will complete one of the following essays in a five-paragraph essay form for their evaluation.

A Renaissance person defined as one who is knowledgeable in both science and art.  Give an example of someone in today's world who might be called a Renaissance person.  What are the advantages and disadvantages of this combination of knowledge for an educated person.   

The Renaissance marked a time period of rebirth.  Much of the rebirth focused on changing religious practices from the Middle Ages.  Discuss how this change was reflected in the artwork from the Renaissance period.
