Blacklisted phone numbers
It appears to be the season for The March of Dimes (MOD on caller ID) to solicit donations. They've called me twice this weekend. I support my share of charities, but for the most part, I resent being solicited. I want the freedom to give when I'm ready to give. The non-profits I support most generously are the ones I am active in. No one should be put on a guilt trip to give their money to anyone. Be a wise giver. There are plenty of Internet resources that help you assess the effectiveness of charities. That's not the purpose of this post, anyway.
I take full advantage of caller ID and call blocking services on my land line. Here's a snapshot of my current blacklist. I'm formatting numbers my preferred way and duplicating them in 10-digit format so Google can index them. Happy blacklisting!
