REPAIRS:
We are the Best Service Company in Colorado. We have the education to correctly diagnose processor problems, and the dealerships to obtain repair parts, with thousands of parts already in inventory. Unlike the competition, we don't replace multi-hundred dollar subassemblies, when only a single or a few less expensive components are defective. We know how to identify a problem down to the component level, and replace that component, saving your office headaches and large expenses. Since we're local, you don't have to wait days for an out-of-town company's scheduled visit. MOST REPAIRS CAN BE COMPLETED IN AS LITTLE AS 90 MINUTES OF YOUR CALL IN THE COLORADO SPRINGS AREA! For catastrophic failure, we will (at no charge) loan your office working sub-assemblies or an entire processor while the parts are en route and repairs are completed.
PROCLEANS:
Our business was established with the Proclean: Undeniably the best cleaning your processor will ever recieve. During the 2- to 3- hour period of a Proclean, we drain the chemistry, remove, soak, and meticulously clean the racks, backflush pumps, clean the tanks, check parts (gears, rollers, seals) and then reassemble, verifying operations, flow rates, and temperature. We troubleshoot so that faulty or old parts can be replaced or repaired, prior to inconveniencing your office. We recommend a Proclean every 30 to 90 days, based on use.
DRAIN & FILLS:
In a Drain & Fill, we do exactly that. We drain the chemicals out of the processor, rinse off the racks and the pans, rotate the rollers (but do not use cleanser on them), put in fresh chemistry, and reassemble the processor. This is about what the competition does and calls a "cleaning" (they may add cleanser to the rack-soaking fluid) for which they charge $39.00. We do it for $25.00.
RECYCLING AND HAZARDOUS WASTE:
X-Ray Service and Supply, Inc., is the only Licenced photochemical waste facility in El Paso county. We do not haphazardly mix the fluid with a powder to turn it into a gelatin (expensive and ineffective). We do not take it to another state and dump it in their water (irresponsible). Collected fixer or photo waste is taken to our processing station where silver salts are reduced to elemental silver in a controlled electroplation system. Discharge is then passed through enormouse ion exchange columns to remove remaining silver down to non-detectible levels and never above 1.2 ppm. Ph is then tested and raised to above 5.5. Treated waste is then discharged with flushing water to the sewer as allowed by the Colorado Springs Waste Water Division under permit # 2-16-1001-505-0062.
We also collect for recycling: lead foils (remove from plastic packets, first, please), amalgam, and old x-ray film. Because recyclables are a profitless endeavor (takes 20% of our time and makes less than one-half of one percent of our profit), we cannot pay for them. But we will see they are properly logged on a State-approved sheet, and recycled.
