How to Make a Sputnik Model Rocket

To commemorate the 50th anniversary of the launch of Sputnik 1, members of COSROCS built and flew Sputnik model rockets in October 2007. A Sputnik model rocket is fairly easy to build. The following pages describe the steps for building a Sputnik model rocket for use with Estes mini (13mm) engines.
