In 1908 the company was forced to buy another railroad's refrigerator car that was wrecked while on the Midland. The Midland's shop crew rebuilt the car into Gas Transport Car 7001, which is pictured here. We believe that Mr. Ellison is pictured in the upper photo, standing at the far left. He is again depicted in the lower photo, looking away from the camera. According to Mel McFarland, this might be the only existing known photo of the car. |
