Description: Built in 1971, Architect: Press Maxwell, Course record: 59. This 9-hole executive course features gently rolling terrain with lightly-scattered trees. The greens are mostly flat with subtle contours and moderate bunkering. Water is not a factor, only coming into play on one hole. A good walking course. You can play 18 holes by using the alternate tees on the 'back' none. Cherokee Ridge also has a 9-hole par 3 course.
No restrictions on public play except juniors 7-14 must be accompanied by an adult. Carts are not required and do not follow the 90-degree rule when used. Walking is allowed and pull carts are available. Slow play will not be tolerated and will be stictly marshaled at all times. Pace of play is 2 hours and 10 minutes for each nine and 1 hour for the par 3. Ways to speed up play are 1) Continuous Putting 2) Hit when ready 3) One practice swing only 4) No honors when teeing off 5) Do not wave groups up on par 3's. Carts must stay on the cart paths, where provided. Please repair all ball marks on greens, rake bunkers and replace divots. Only Cherokee Ridge beer and liquor can be consumed on the course or in the golf shop. Please observe all course rules and proper golf etiquette. No one under 7 years of age is allowed on the course.
Shirts and shoes are required.
Tee times can be made 7 days in advance
Signature Hole: #4 - 154 yards, par 3. A beautiful hole featuring a large kidney-shaped green which is well guarded by bunkers. A variety of tees offers different lengths and angles for the tee shot.

Directions: Near the corner of Palmer Park and Powers. Go east on Palmer Park. You'll see the course on the left (north - look for the big white water bunkers). Turn left on Tuskequee and follow the road to the course.
