Series 3 Action Figures
"Jagged" Top Cards vs. "Round" Top Cards
Spawn_Chainbar

Below are pictures of a card from a
Series 3 Figure with a "Jagged" top .
(These figures appeared before the ones with a "Round" top were released)

"Jagged" Card- Front

Note that on the front side of the card, the die-cut does not go into or near the Black area where the name of the figure is printed.
You can see how the inside of the hook area of the die-cut has a sharp, "jagged" look, and that the peg-hole is smaller than the "Round" top cards.

"Jagged" Card- Back

Notice on the backside of the card how the die-cut does not penetrate the picture of REDEEMER's shoulder.

Below are pictures of a card from a
Series 3 Figure with a "Round" top.
(These figures appeared after the ones with a "Jagged" top were released)

"Round" Card- Front

Note how the die-cut almost cuts down into the Black area where the figure's name is printed. You can see how the inside of the hook area of the die-cut has a smoother, "round" look, and that the peg-holes on these figures are considerably larger than the "Jagged" top cards.

"Round" Card- Back

Notice on the backside of the card how the die-cut penetrates the picture of REDEEMER's shoulder.

As you can see, the card variations are subtle, but they are the easiest way to tell First-Run Series 3
figures from later Series 3 shipments.
