DELUXE FIGURES IN SERIES 3:
Future Spawn

Spawn_Chainbar

Small package differences create the most variations in Series 3

Series 3 figures had the top of their packages cut 2 different ways:

The first Series 3 figures have a triangular, "jagged" edge die-cut at the point where the retail store peg hook is supposed to let the figure hang on a peg.

The later Series 3 figure packages have a "circular" die-cut with round edges and a plastic re-inforcement.
This variation, though small, is the easiest way to tell a Series 3 figure shipped early in the manufacturing run from the ones that came later.

TO SEE PICTURES OF THE DIFFERENT CARD TOPS, CLICK HERE!

When an accessory or sticker is referred to as being on the left or right side of a bubble pack, the reference point is from the perspective of looking directly at the front of an unopened figure.

There is a small variation concerning the front cardboard piece with the Spawn Logo and Instructions for the Figure on it. Some figures have this card inbetween the figure bubble and the ouside bubble- making the Instruction Card impossible to peel off. Packing the Instruction Card this way was a marked cosmetic improvement. This variation is believed to have been released early in the Series 3 figure run because all confirmed figures that have this variation have Jagged Card tops. However, the majority of the Series 3 figures had their Instruction Cards glued onto the front of the outer bubble, which eventually leads to package degredation.
