HERE IS A COMMON GRADING SYSTEM THAT I AM USING TO CONVEY THE CONDITION OF MY FIGURES BEING SOLD OR TRADED
C1: The figure is loose, paint is damaged and it is missing all accessories.
C2: Figure is loose, in good shape and missing 1 or more of its accessories.
C3: Figure is loose, in mint shape with all accessories.
C4: Figure is carded, but the card is ripped or falling apart in the WORST way and the bubble may be split, ripped, crushed or yellowed.
C5: Figure is carded and the card itself is in good shape (NOT MINT!- corner worn and folded, dents or dings, etc.), but the bubble pack may be yellowing, ripped, crushed or becoming separated from the card.
C6: Figure is carded, the card is NEAR MINT (Maybe some price sticker gum on it, a small crease, a little corner wear, etc.) but the bubble pack may be yellowing, ripped, crushed or becoming separated from the card.
C7: Figure is on card, but the card is in GOOD shape (Dinged-up, creases, folded corner, etc.) but the bubble is perfectly attached, not ripped, yellowing or crushed.
C8: Card is in NM shape, and the bubble is not yellowing, not ripped, not crushed and is perfectly attached to the card.
(MOST FIGURES THAT ARE RELEASED TO STORES ARE ALREADY IN C7 AND C8 CONDITION!)
C9: Card is in MINT shape and the bubble is perfectly attached but the bubble may be slightly (near invisibly) scratched internally or externally- This figure is usually THE BEST a STORE can offer.
C10: The figure came directly from the manufacturer or (more rarely) a store and is like a proof- the card is Mint and the bubble is perfectly clear and flawless. This also covers Mail-Away figures in sealed, factory-direct shipping boxes.
C10: Is REALLY HARD to come by...
( + or - ): When a figure is "almost" a condition but not quite.
For example, a C9(+) means that the figure is almost a C10, but something about its condition keeps it in the C9 category.
This could mean that the card is in NM-MINT condition instead of MINT, or that there may be problems with the bubble.
This scale or a variant thereof is used by many websites for collectors. If you use this scale, a commonality can be made for everyone. Feel free to cut and paste this scale to any of your own pages!
Due to a recent glut of e-mails- I say this again- I DO NOT HAVE THE FINAL FANTASY 7 FIGURES BELOW!!! THE FIGURES LISTED ARE THE ONES I NEED TO COMPLETE MY OWN COLLECTION AND THE VALUES NEXT TO THEM ARE WHAT THEY ARE WORTH IN TRADE FOR THE ITEMS IN THE LIST ABOVE!
ANY OR ALL of the Bandai JAPANESE "Final Fantasy 7 - EXTRA KNIGHTS" Figures! This includes Cloud Strife, Aeris Gainsborough, Tifa Lockhart, Barret, Red XIII, Sephiroth and Vincent!!!
In C8(+) or better condition: Worth $30 Individually, or $250 as a Group of 7 in TRADE!
I DO NOT NEED THE AMERICAN 4 FIGURE BOXED SET OR ANY OF THE AMERICAN RE-RELEASE VERSIONS OF THE FIGURES!!!
The easiest way to tell the American Versions of the figures from the Japanese Versions is that the card backs will have "Each sold separately. Subject to availability" printed in English there, and they all will have "MADE IN CHINA" in large, bold letters on their backs as well. A notice to visit "www.bandai.com" can also be found on the back of the American Versions of the figures, too!
I am particularly interested in the Barret figure- he will have a tattoo on his left shoulder if he is a Japanese version!
ONCE AGAIN! I HAVE NO FINAL FANTASY 7 FIGURES FOR SALE!!! I AM EITHER WILLING TO BUY THEM OFF OF YOU OR TO TRADE YOU FOR THEM! THANK YOU!!!
