Joyworx of Ralph Garren

I'm Ralph of Joyworx.

I was born in the small mountain community of La Veta, Colorado. I was blessed from the very beginning with family and friends there. Everybody knew everybody. We worked, helped each other and played together. I was free as the wind to explore the wonders of the land, always reminded that God had made the garden that we were given, and that it needed great care from us.

As I grew older, it became necessary to leave that home to challenge the world of military service, career and raising a family. This was accomplished in most part only eighty miles away from "home" in Pueblo, Colorado. There I worked forty years in the pressrooms of the Pueblo Chieftain newspaper, a wonderful and reliable company. They provided me with employment that I loved.

Now, I find myself "free as the wind" again! However, this time I have a loving wife as a companion as we roam the land. My part in our web site, Joyworx, is the sharing of a few photos of "home" and the places on this earth that we love so much.
